You know... I never really introduced myself...

 Leave it to me to not formally introduce myself on here. So..... Hey there! MorallyGrayGhoulette here and welcome to my Blogger! If you want you can follow me on my other socials found in my Linktree or at the same username @MorallyGrayGhoulette  🖤 I'm gonna use this post to share a little about myself, some of my favorite things and hobbies. So glad you are here 🖤

About Me: 

    I'm currently 30 (or as my friends say 25 plus shipping and handling 😂) I'm a pet parent to a wonderful Pomeranian, a Tennessee Walking horse and a cat. I work full time as a large animal vet assistant for an emergency clinic. I was an avid reader growing up, enjoyed earning AR reading points, spending summers at the library, was a part of my high schools book club and of course the book fairs. But as always life catches up to us and I stopped reading as much once I entered college. 

    I started reading avidly again in December of 23 after one of my coworkers recommended a couple of books and I havent looked back since. I have enjoyed reading dark romance, fantasy, and thrillers/horrors, but defiantly am up for anything! I am always looking for more book recommendations even though my TBR is long enough for a million lifetimes 

   

    I plan on using my accounts as a space to share my love for books, movies and Ghost. I promise to try to keep it mostly related to books but as you can see from my other posts...Ghost is ingrained in my soul at this point.  With that being said im going to list some of my favorite things 

    

Favorite Books/Authors:

    Now this list is forever growing but I'm going to try and keep it to my top 10. (BTW these are in no particular oder) 

• Duskwalker Brides Series - Opal Reyne - This is the first series that got me hooked on monster smut and boy is it good 🤤😮‍💨
• Court of Ravens Duet - Liv Zander - this duet has my whole heart, I found this though a Facebook add and I devoured it in no time. This duet made me feel all the feelings and I defiantly may have cried once or twice.
• Empyrean Series- Rebecca Yarros - after some begging and pleading I finally picked up this series and I'm so thankful I did. it was an instant obsession. 
• Web of Silence Duet - Leigh Rivers -  While some hate this duet, it lives rent free in in my mind
• The Four Horsemen Series - Laura Thalessa - I picked this up after I saw a coworker reading it and it did not disappoint. Hot men and horses what more could you ask for? 
• Heathens Hollow Trilogy - Alta Hensley - another series I picked up on a whim when I saw an add for it, and only book one was released. I was waiting very impatiently for this series to be complete and it did not disappoint (if you love masks and IICYIFU, you will love this)
• The Wicked Boys of Wonderland Series - Jekka Wilde - A Wilde retelling of Alice in Wonderland and its is delightfully Wicked (see what I did there?)
• AJ Merlin - All of her books are *Chefs Kiss*
• H.D Carlton - Hasn't disappointed me yet 
• Riley Sager- He is a new favorite of mine, defiantly knows how to write a good thriller that keeps you guessing until the very end

Favorite Movies:

       Don't be surprised when most of these are horror, cause I'm a true horror lover through and through. 

• Dead Silence - I can just about quote this movie from beginning to end.....it made the top 5 on shudder last year and my friends joke I single handedly got it there  Also James Wan is just an amazing filmmaker, you will find lots of his movies make this list
• Terrifier Series - Oh me how I love this series, Art...hes just to die for 🖤
• Conjuring Universe - I know there is a lot of controversy surrounding the real life Warrens, but I absolutely love this series, especially Patrick Willson and Vera Farmiga.
• Insidious Universe - These movies used to seriously creep me out. But once again Patrick Willson and Lin Shaye are absolutely amazing in these movies. Oh and not to mention Ghost had a song at the end of Insidious: The Red Door.
• Hell House Series - There is something about a good found footage movie that just gives the upmost creep factor
• The Midnight Man - found this movie while randomly scrolling Shudder and boy am I glad I did! Lin Shaye and Robert Englund were spectacular as always. 
• Harry Potter - I'm a Slytherin girl though and though, and Severus Snape will always be a hear me out (sue me)
• Ratatouille - This is one of my all time favorite Disney movies, just something about it is so comforting when I watch it
• The Labyrinth - this is where my love for David Bowie started and it hasn't stopped 
• Jurassic Park - These are a classic, I remember my grandpa convincing my grandma to let me stay up late on a school night to watch this movie. (I was a huge Dinosaur kid)
• Titanic - This is an honorable mention, I had a huge obsession with this movie as well as real life event

    Now this list is in random order other than the number one spot, it will always belong to Ghost 🖤

Comfort Shows:

    Now based on my movies you may really be surprised when you see some of the shows on this list. Try to not judge too harshly lol But these are the shows that I can watch over and over and never get tired of them.

• Arthur - (yes the kids show) I grew up watching this with my grandma and it will always have a special place in my heart 
• Scooby - Doo Where Are You - This is where my spooky lore started (along with Goosebumps)
• Stranger Things - 
• Bobs Burgers - my all time favorite adult cartoon
• Ghost Adventures - There are things in this world that we will never fully understand *understand* we want answers 
• Catfish -I'm not a big fan of reality shows but this one will never get old 
• 1000 lb Sisters - this show is just pure comedy gold
• My Hero Academia - this anime is top tier and I wish I could wipe my memory to watch it again for the first time.
• Attack on Titan - Don't get attached to anyone ever, unless they are an Ackerman
• Black Butler - This was one of my first anime's and I knew I was addicted 

Hobbies:

    These are some of my favorite pastimes, even though sometimes life gets in the way of enjoying them. 

• Riding Horses - I was always a horse girl at heart 
• Reading (duh!) - best way to pass the time 
• Going to Amusement Parks - on the rare occasion I go on vacation, its always to Universal or Disney World
• Watching Movies - Nothing better than a good horror movie
• Going to Concerts - Come and find me at the barricade 🖤
• Playing Video Games - This ranges from Red Dead Redemption II to Pokemon, Playstation to Nintendo 
• Going Thrifting - This is one of my most favorite places to shop, I love a good thrift store or consignment shop 
• Playing With My Animals - They really are some of the best friends a girl could ask for (even when they are being little assholes)
• Drawing/Painting - Crafting in general honestly 
• Shopping for Books - another Duh
